If Australians had a dollar for every time they were told they did not have enough super, they might just hit the super lobby’s retirement targets.

The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia estimates a couple needs $690,000 in super by age 67 to enjoy a “comfortable” retirement where they spend $73,000 per year.
