Small and medium Qld companies get payroll tax holiday

The Queensland government is offering a six-month payroll tax holiday for small and medium-sized companies to help deal with the fallout from the coronavirus.
As the tourism hotspot deals with the ongoing affects of the China travel ban, State Treasurer Jackie Trad said companies with a wages bill of less than $6.5 million could defer their payroll tax obligations until August.
