A Sydney accountant has walked free despite being convicted and sentenced for his role in a multimillion-dollar tax avoidance case unearthed during Project Wickenby.
Ray Osborne, a former partner of WHK Horwath (now known as Crowe Horwath) was found guilty of two counts of defrauding the Commonwealth and two counts of dishonestly causing a loss to the Commonwealth.
