Juniors champing at the drill-bit
After a disappointing 2010 on the exploration front for the junior oil and gas sector, one of the first to test the drill-bit in south-east Asia this year will be Carnarvon Petroleum, which is gearing up to start drilling in its L20/50 block onshore Thailand in little over a week’s time.

Carnarvon has set January 17 as the date to start mobilising the drill-rig to the site for a back-to-back program of up to three wells at the permit, half-owned by Sun Resources.
