Multivitamins can help survival from bowel cancer

Moderate doses of multivitamins – three to five tablets a week – appear to lower the risk of death in people with colorectal cancer that has not yet spread, according to a study published in the leading journal, Cancer.
But the authors caution that taking more tablets is not necessarily better, and that higher doses may increase the risk of death.
