Eight thousand teachers have signed up for courses to learn the basics of evidence-based instruction over the past three years, proof of huge unmet demand for practical help in teaching and managing classes.
The courses run by Pam Snow and Tanya Serry from La Trobe University are so over-subscribed they struggle to keep up with demand – evidence enough that teacher education courses are letting their students down.
