Grok Academy’s founder resigns with workplace investigation under way

The founder and chief executive of Grok Academy, a free technology education outfit championed by billionaire businessman Richard White, has resigned with the company launching an independent investigation into complaints made against him.

The Australian Financial Review reported on Tuesday that the company, which had charged a subscription fee for its education services until Mr White stepped in with an initial pledge of $2.5 million in 2022, was in disarray, with as many as 80 of its 100 permanent staff made redundant and the resignation of half its board.
