Free saliva test for the young could prevent fatal cancers later

A simple saliva test will be able to detect genetically inherited cancers and heart disease in young people, allowing them to seek preventative treatments long before symptoms arise.
The DNA screening test, which has been developed by researchers at Monash University, will be free and involves just sending a saliva sample in the mail for testing.
