Queensland braces for more ‘wild’ weather, heatwave to hit WA

There is no end in sight for wild weather battering Queensland, Emergency Management Minister Murray Watt has cautioned, amid warnings of heavy rain and potentially dangerous flooding in the state’s south-east.

Intense falls in some areas could lead to dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding, the Bureau of Meteorology warned on Monday morning, with adverse weather to affect residents at Coolangatta, Logan, Beenleigh, Tamborine Mountain and Springbrook.
