Exploration minnow Lakes Oil has born the brunt of Victoria’s sudden ban on hydraulic fracturing, losing as much as half of its value after the shares returned from a trading halt.
Lakes shares on Tuesday dropped as low as 0.2¢, down 50 per cent, before recovering slightly to 0.3¢, down 25 per cent, giving it a market value of about $21 million.
