Deluge wreaks havoc across NSW
Businesses in NSW already battered by the pandemic are bracing for another hit from a once-in-50-year weather event that has left insurers preparing for a surge in claims potentially worth hundreds of millions.
The deluge of rain which led to severe flooding along the coast of NSW and parts of western Sydney over the weekend is also expected to cause delays to the next phase of Australia’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout, due to start on Monday.
