The Coalition’s nuclear strategy is attracting considerable attention – for better or worse. What it means for Australia’s continued reliance on coal-fired power in the meantime doesn’t get as much of a public focus.

Opposition energy spokesman Ted O’Brien is determined to change that, striking another hammer blow against industry pleas for greater bipartisanship and policy stability in coping with the energy transition.
