Bloated government clashes with Labor’s business-led growth hopes
Unless there is a fundamental mindset shift by Labor, the private sector will remain stuck in the doldrums and we will retain an overblown economy that delivers inadequate living standards.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told business people this month he wants the private sector to resume its rightful place as the primary source of growth in the economy.
It’s a tacit acknowledgement that Australia has a sclerotic economy.
