Foster Stockbroking expects more gold stocks to repair balance sheets with equity raisings, in the wake of deals from Silver Lake Resources and Millennium Minerals.

The broker told clients to avoid equity-raising candidates, including heavyweights Newcrest Mining , Beadell Resources , OceanaGold and St Barbara .
