China has officially confirmed that will be the starting date for its most important political meeting, held only twice in a decade. The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party – dubbed the Chinese version of Game of Thrones – will decide the make-up of China's powerful ruling body, the Politburo's Standing Committee.
