China set to walk away from Trump trade talks
China's government is considering cancelling its ongoing trade talks with the Trump administration after the President said he was ready to ratchet up trade tariffs later this week, the Wall Street Journal reported.
A decision from Beijing all depends on whether or not Vice Premier Liu He will travel to Washington for talks on Wednesday - talks that were expected to come as negotiations concluded - as originally planned, after high-level discussions last week in the Chinese capital between the two countries.
