Boris Johnson says UK to leave EU on Oct 31 'do or die'
London | Boris Johnson, the frontrunner to become the next British prime minister, has dramatically upped the stakes on Brexit, saying the country would leave the European Union on October 31 "come what may, do or die".
It was his strongest statement yet that he won't countenance any extension to Brexit, even if that means leaving the bloc in a disorderly and economically disruptive manner, and against the will of parliament.
