Labor Senator and factional powerbroker Sam Dastyari has quit the Senate following weeks of pressure over his links to China via billionaire political donor and property developer Huang Xiangmo.
The frontrunner to replace him will be former NSW premier Kristina Keneally if she loses Saturday's Bennelong by-election.
