Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott responded to the pressure on him to stop challenging the Turnbull government's policies with a defiant riposte in front of his colleagues that he posted on social media.
"Unity has to be created and loyalty has to be earned," Mr Abbott told his fellow Coalition MPs at a meeting Tuesday morning. "They can't just be demanded."
