'Simply ludicrous': Blackmores slams 'Australian-made' restriction

Health supplements company Blackmores has slammed restrictions on branding its products as Australian-made, calling for an urgent change to regulation and contradicting advice given to a parliamentary committee.
Officials from the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science told Senate estimates hearings last week Blackmores and competitor Swisse did not use the regulated "Australian Made, Australian Grown" logo and continued to enjoy success selling their products overseas.
