Pauline Hanson's Senate veto power has collapsed with dissident One Nation Senator Brian Burston defying her demands he quit Parliament and daring her to sack him from the minor party.
The relationship between the pair, which spans 21 years, has become irretrievably broken amid accusations of betrayal and a bitter disagreement over Senator Hanson's backflip on supporting the Turnbull government's company tax cuts.
