North Queensland sugar cane crops suffer worst flooding in more than 20 years

Ingham cane farmer Michael Pisano says North Queensland residents are used to a lot of rain, but the monsoon-like conditions of the past month, especially in the past week, have been something else.

"We do have rainfalls in North Queensland, but never anything like this," he said.
