Queensland's Deputy Premier and rising political star Jackie Trad is at home in Enoteca, one of Brisbane's best restaurants which conveniently happens to be in her South Brisbane electorate, but she is still getting used to her lone security detail sitting outside.

"It's just weird. I know they're just doing their job, but it's just weird," she says as we peruse the menu at the Italian restaurant that is renowned for its wine list.
