Labor's internal disputes over asylum seeker policy have flared publicly after a heavily edited transcript of an interview with frontbencher Linda Burney left out her calls for time limits for offshore detention.
The Sky News interview on Wednesday afternoon included discussion of Labor's immigration policies, but the transcript removed significant passages, prompting Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton to accuse Labor of releasing "fraudulent" information.
