The battle for Wentworth post Malcolm Turnbull has been entirely focused on who the Liberal Party will put forward, but Labor have not given up snatching the waterside seat in Sydney's east.
The ALP has pre-selected a Mandarin-speaking investment analyst in Tim Murray to contest the byelection, which has been triggered by Mr Turnbull's loss of the prime ministership and resignation from Parliament.
