The National Assessment Plan – Literacy and Numeracy, NAPLAN, has a lot of value, has not outlived its usefulness and critics should hold back.

The comment is in a report from the Centre for Independent Studies to be released on Monday which reviews the place of NAPLAN as the controversial primary and secondary school exam reaches its 10th anniversary.
