Microsoft education chief says technology jobs gap is becoming acute

Technology giant Microsoft has thousands of jobs it cannot fill in Australia and the US, as a shortage of technology-skilled workers begins to hit.

In Australia the skills shortage is wider than in the US, with latest data showing vacancies are soaring for jobs such as business and finance managers and automotive and engineering trades.
