Treasury's John Fraser says Future Fund cash switch not his call

Treasury secretary John Fraser has sidestepped questions about why the department effectively bolstered the Abbott government's long-term surplus forecasts by including Future Fund earnings in the budget bottom line.
As revealed by The Australian Financial Review last month, expected surpluses next decade have been significantly boosted by the inclusion from 2020-21 of earnings from the $117 billion fund.
