Treasury secretary outrage at worsening US-China protectionism

Treasury secretary John Fraser has lashed out at the United States and China over the worsening trade war, warning Washington will "pay a price" for adopting protectionist policies that hurt workers.
In unusually blunt language for Australia's top economic official, Mr Fraser condemned escalating tit-for-tat tariffs between Australia's two biggest trade partners as "terrible" and "not in our interest".
