The government's optimistic growth forecasts could be undone by an assumption for falling unemployment at a time when fiscal consolidation is intensifying.
Australian growth is headed to 3 per cent in 2018-19 as the government counts on steadily-rising household consumption even after adjusting for a fall in housing activity, the budget papers show.
