The sharemarket moved closer to its 200th listing for the year after two junior miners made their debut yesterday.

Eight more companies are needed to list in the next month to reach the milestone, following the first day of trading of gold and uranium hopeful Mantle Mining and nickel and gold explorer Athena Resources.
