Sydney Roads Group, the toll-road owner, struggled in its debut on the Australian Stock Exchange yesterday in a mixed day for the three market newcomers in which two closed in the red.

Stapled securities in SRG started trading at $1.04, well below the $1.15 issue price and eventually closed at $1.03, giving the fund a market capitalisation of $962 million.
