It's hard to think of a sector that has done a better job of torching investors over the past few years than the vocational education and training sector – VET for short.

But that's reason enough for investors to have a look to see if there is anything worthwhile left over from all the carnage. The shortsellers have had their day in the sun in this sector, but they have long gone and moved on to something else.
