South Korean securities regulators are reportedly investigating Regal Funds Management for its trading practices amid a wide-ranging crackdown on short selling.

Citing “people with knowledge of the matter”, Bloomberg reported that prosecutors had been asked to investigate the major Australian hedge fund by South Korea’s Securities and Futures Commission in December. The investigation remained open.
