Australian investors are taking profits on the lucrative big tech mega-trade, as markets brace for a bumpier ride ahead for the US sharemarket after nearly two years of oversized returns.

That’s according to strategists at BlackRock who said they’ve seen signs of local investors diversifying away from large-cap US stocks.
