M&A arb fund Harvest Lane keeps a ‘blacklist’ of boards to avoid

Luke Cummings keeps a blacklist of men and women on company boards who seem to veto every takeover bid that comes their way, and often for no good reason.
“We care about governance and there are chairmen and chairwomen out there, where no transaction could ever be proposed in which they would be happy with,” says the chief investment officer of Harvest Lane Asset Management.
