Former Seymour Whyte chief executive David McAdam has emerged as the managing director of Intelligent Infrastructure Solutions after acquiring Queensland services group ATS Infrastructure, which has gone into administration.

ATS Infrastructure, whose clients included Lend Lease and Gold Coast Rapid Transit and is also a pre-qualified contractor for NSW's Roads and Maritime Services authority, filed for administration on January 25, according to a filing with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.
