Companies tap offshore money as IPO drought deepens

As the year-long drought in investor appetite for initial public offerings drags on, Australian companies are looking to foreign markets to raise money via dual listings.
West Australian gold miner Westgold Resources is the latest ASX-listed stock to prepare to list on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), following its merger with Canada’s Karora Resources earlier this year.
