ASX has best September quarter since 2013 amid worries it has peaked
Major investors say ASX valuations may have peaked after the best September quarter in more than a decade, pushed along by growing certainty that interest rates will fall and an economic stimulus in China.
The S&P/ASX 200 Index hit its seventh record high of the month on Monday, capping a remarkable turnaround from the worst sell-off since the pandemic that struck the benchmark in August, when there were fears of a US recession.
