ASX adds 1.1pc, posts second straight weekly advance

Australian shares rallied on Friday, led by strong gains posted by energy and consumer discretionary stocks which lifted the benchmark index to its second consecutive weekly advance.
The S&P/ASX added 1.1 per cent, or 76.8 points, to 7182.7 on Friday, taking its weekly gain to 0.5 per cent.
