Mineral explorer Diatreme Resources made a disappointing start to life on the Australian Stock Exchange yesterday, ending its first day on the local bourse at a 15 per cent discount to its issue price of 20 ¢.

Diatreme moved from the Newcastle Stock Exchange, where it had been listed since October 2003, and raised an additional $3.69 million through a fresh issue of shares to list on the Australian Stock Exchange.
