Perth junior Sundance Resources has struck a long-awaited deal for the construction of $US3.5 billion in infrastructure underpinning its central African iron ore project, but is still courting debt investors to bankroll the development.

Sundance has been inching towards construction for its Mbalam-Nabeba iron ore project, which straddles Cameroon and the Congo.
