The resources investment cycle is past its peak but the industry still has good prospects for further investment “under the right business conditions", federal resources minister Ian Macfarlane says.
Mr Macfarlane will also warn that commodity prices will remain “highly sensitive" to variations in Chinese consumption and production, and will voice confidence on Chinese economic growth and capital investment, despite the recent period of slower growth.
