Four listed companies are among the beneficiaries from the latest round of geothermal grants handed out by the federal government.

Hot Rock, Geodynamics, Greenearth Energy and Torrens Energy will each receive $7 million in funding under the second round of the federal government's $50 million geothermal drilling program.
