Newcrest Mining, Australia’s biggest goldminer, has appointed Allens Arthur Robinson partner Scott Langford as general counsel and company secretary.
Newcrest Mining , Australia’s biggest goldminer, has appointed Allens Arthur Robinson (pictured above) partner Scott Langford as general counsel and company secretary. Mr Langford, who will start with Newcrest on July 1, is co-leader of AAR’s energy and resources practice group.

Millennium Minerals is undertaking a $16.6 million share placement and has restructured its debt facilities to fund an expansion of its Nullagine gold project in Western Australia. Millennium has negotiated an increase in its project debt facility from $25 million to $40 million. The company is aiming to produce 100,000 ounces a year from Nullagine. First gold pour is expected in the December quarter.
