Alkane delays project studies

Alkane Resources has again pushed back a definitive feasibility study on its Dubbo zirconia project, amid delays over its nearby Tomingley gold project because of the NSW government’s mining and exploration licence overhaul.
Alkane managing director Ian Chalmers conceded the company had underestimated the complexity of work required to develop the Dubbo project.
