Sandfire Resources has signed a contract with MRI Trading for the purchase of 50 per cent of the Direct Shipping Ore from Sandfire’s DeGrussa copper-gold project in Western Australia. The contract is for the purchase of 50 per cent of DSO production, up to a maximum of 75,000 dry metric tonnes of DSO, for a one-year period commencing March 2012.
