PanAust’s 90 per cent-owned Phu Kham operation in Laos achieved copper in concentrate production for the September quarter of 13,043 tonnes at an average C1 cash cost of $US1.12 per pound after precious metal credits. Copper production was lower than scheduled for the September quarter due to interruptions by intense rainfall at the end of June and early July and subsequent flooding of the lower benches of the open pit.
