QMC (QMN) reports RC drilling at the Flamingo copper/gold project has encountered significant copper mineralisation. This drilling was designed to follow up previous drilling which found significant intersections. This initial drilling found 10m at 8.02pc copper and 1.15g/t gold between 26m and 36m. In the same hole, a further 12m at 1.06pc copper between 48m and 60m has been intersected while excellent results were also achieved in another hole of 4m grading 15.5pc copper and 2.0g/t gold between 70m and 74m.
