Millennium Minerals has placed 60.78 million shares at 4.5¢ each to sophisticated investors, raising $2.73million.

The company will also make a $5.24 million, 1-for-4 rights issue at 4.5¢ a share with one three-year option attached to every two new shares subscribed for at a 7.5¢ strike price.
